At The Clarinet Lab, I take pride in the precision and craftsmanship dedicated to every instrument. To ensure your peace of mind, all repair services are backed by the following warranty terms:

1-Year Overhaul Warranty

I provide a one-year (12 months) limited warranty on all full overhauls for clarinets and flutes. This covers:

• Mechanical Adjustments: Regulation of keywork and timing.

• Pad Seating: Ensuring all pads remain airtight and properly seated.

• Workmanship: Any issues arising directly from the assembly or materials used during the overhaul.

General Repairs

For individual repairs or "clean, oil, and adjust" (COA) services that do not constitute a full overhaul, a 90-day warranty applies specifically to the work performed and parts replaced.

What is Not Covered

To maintain the integrity of your instrument, please note that this warranty does not cover:

• Wood Cracks: Due to the organic nature of grenadilla and other tonewoods, I cannot guarantee against cracks caused by changes in humidity, temperature, or "breaking-in" periods.

• Improper Handling: Damage resulting from accidents, drops, neglect, or lack of routine maintenance (e.g., failure to swab the instrument or oil the bore).

• DIY Adjustments: Any attempt to repair or adjust the instrument by the owner or a third party will void this warranty.

• Normal Wear and Tear: Expected degradation of soft materials (corks, felts) due to heavy professional use.

Note: Shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the instrument owner unless otherwise agreed upon.
