Professional Plating Service

The Process: The instrument component is thoroughly cleaned, chemically degreased, and submerged in an electrolyte solution. An electrical current is passed through, causing metal ions to bond smoothly and evenly to the surface. A flash coat of copper is frequently applied first because silver and gold bond more securely to copper than to raw brass or nicke silver.

Logo Restoration

Clarinet logo restoration is the process of repairing, refilling, or re-highlighting the faded, worn, or missing manufacturer stamp—typically a brand name like Buffet Crampon, Selmer, or Yamaha—engraved or stamped into the wood or plastic body of a clarinet.

Over time, handling, sweat, cleaning solvents, and general wear cause the gold or silver pigment embedded in the maker's hallmark to flake away or fade into obscurity. To restore it, we are using modern computer technology.

1. Online Booking (Overhauls & COA)

For General Overhauls and COA services (Clean, Oil, Adjust), we use an automated online scheduling system.

This allows you to see our real-time availability and pick a date that works best for you.

2. Requesting an Estimate

  • Clear photos of the instrument (body, keys).

  • A brief description of the specific repairs required or any issues you are experiencing.

3. Invoicing & Payment Process

Transparency is key to our workflow. Once your instrument has arrived safely at our workshop, the following steps apply:

  • Invoicing: We will issue and send a formal invoice to you via email after the physical intake of the instrument.

  • Payment Terms: Please note that all repair work must be paid in full before the repair process begins. Work will commence as soon as the payment has been cleared.
