Every C.O.A. follows the same thorough process in our Riga atelier.
Disassembly & assessment
Complete disassembly of the keywork. We check the wood for hairline cracks, the tenon corks, and the rods and pivots for play or bending.
Deep cleaning
Gentle cleaning of the body, tone holes and bore. Ultrasonic cleaning of all mechanical parts removes residue and old lubricants.
Wood care
Conditioning of the body with premium natural oils for deep impregnation.
Mechanism & pad service
- Cleaning and fresh lubrication of all rods, screws and pivots with long-lasting oils and greases
- Replacement of worn pads with our own Signati pads: up to 2–3 pads included
- Renewal of key corks and felts where necessary
Adjustment & regulation
- Precise regulation of all linked keys (e.g. F/C mechanism, ring keys)
- Optimised key heights for even intonation and tone colour
- Leak-light test and final air-tightness check under playing conditions

A final acoustic and response check across the entire range before your clarinet goes back to you.
